We are a church made up of people from diverse backgrounds who follow Jesus together. Everyone from long time residents of "Kentuckiana", to newcomers have found a supportive Christian family at Concordia. We hope you will visit us and tell us your story.
We believe that the Word of God is the means by which Jesus speaks to the world and forms Christian disciples as they learn to follow Him. Therefore we offer many opportunities to hear and study the Scriptures in all of our worship services and Bible studies. All of our ministries including our Sunday School and Pastor's Bible Study as well as our Youth Ministry and our Men's and Women's groups are centered on study and devotion of God's Word. Follow the link below to learn more about what we and all LCMS churches believe.
The center of our community is worshiping the one true God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God speaks to us and nurtures our souls through His Word and the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Absolution, and Holy Communion. We gather every week to receive God's love in worship and respond with singing and prayers.
We seek to serve our community and the world in many different ways. Whether its helping feed and clothe people, assisting the elderly, teaching children, leading others in song and praise, or providing a well for clean drinking water in a far-off country, Concordia is always finding ways to serve others. See our ministries section for more information.
God gives us one another as a gift. Being a part of His church makes us a community that supports one another in bodily and spiritual needs. We worship together, study the Scriptures together, pray together, enjoy fellowship together. In short, in Christ we serve one another and seek to encourage all people in faith in the triune God.
